About Our Temple

As Black Initiates, the focus of our training is intentional demonic possession. By surrendering our flesh to Darkness, we acquire demonic power to effect change in the world. We teach how to establish communication with Infernal entities and find a demonic guide willing to rise within and give guidance and power. A guardian demon is also committed to the initiate, which watches and also guides, giving advice as required. There are groups which teach one to pick a god/demon to work with, but this is incorrect. The demon must choose you. Once communication is established with Hell a demon will come forth, but this is not an easy Path. Over the course of summoning, the Demon Call, trials and tribulations may arise, you will be tested. You may experience pain, strife, and contention, the vicissitudes of which serve only to make us stronger. But if you persevere and have no fear, boldly walking through the Valley of the Shadow of Death, then the Demons will hail you, and you will emerge a new being into a new life, filled with knowledge and experiences the likes of which the majority of the world glimpses only through movies. Our numbers are scattered, and we will never have physical churches. Each of our initiates is a walking temple.

The Five Points of Satanism and the Pentagram

The tenets of the Philosophy of Satanism may be summarized into five points. The five points of Satanism are: INDEPENDENCE, SELF-EVOLUTION, WISDOM, SELF-EMPOWERMENT, and ACCEPTANCE. Satanism is a solitary journey, each initiate must tread alone, each must be strong-minded and strong-willed, finding solace in the silence of the self. This fosters independence, and the demonism of our path provides the things that our initiates need that they will not have to call on others for assistance. Our path is one of evolution. We every day strive to be a little more, to be better husbands, wives, world citizens, something more than what we were. Our demonism and way of thinking are empowering. We grab fast the reigns of life and lead it as we will. We see the Darkness behind the light. We are wise in the truths of reality and the ways of this world.

The five points and their interactions in the practice of Satanism correspond to the five points of the inverted pentagram, and the power of the path of the Black Goat is revealed.

The two uppermost points, as Lavey demonstrated, represent dualism, not one but two powers. They are self and other, yin and yang, positive and negative, etc. Satanism accepts those that are different, those that refuse to fit into any orthodox categories. The duality of Self and Other is reconciled in acceptance and this leads to wisdom, as is seen by tracing their paths down the pentagram. The wisdom that ultimately we are all different drops from the same stream of life. It is the Hegelian dialectic of thesis, antithesis, and synthesis. “Success comes to the lowly and to the poorly talented, but the special characteristic of a great person is to triumph over disasters and panics of human life” (Seneca, On Providence, quoted in The Daily Stoic, 278). Acceptance in the practice of Satanism stands for not only the acceptance of others as they are but also the acceptance of the natural order of the universe as it unfolds at each moment, and detachment from the results of action.

Also, along the lines of the pentagram it is seen that Independence leads to Self-Empowerment and that Acceptance leads to Self-evolution. One becomes a great man or a great woman by adhering to these tenets in their daily life and they progress along the rungs of evolution.

There should be no factions. I call you my Brethren from the Cathedral of the Black Goat, the Hellfire Club, the Temple of Set, from the Order of Nine Angles, the Satanic Temple, the Synagogue of Satan, the Church of Satan, I call all Demonolaters, Luciferians, Traditional Satanists, Theistic Satanists, Atheistic Satanists, all Brothers, Sisters, Daughters, and Sons of Darkness, let us unite. For we are many, yet we are one. E. Pluribus Unum.
